Xatar [ˈχatar] (* 24. Dezember 1981 in Kūh-e Qalā‘, Iran als Giwar Hajabi) ist ein deutscher Rapper und Produzent kurdischer Abstammung. Sein Künstlername „Xatar“ (Aussprache: Chatar) leitet sich vom kurdischen Wort "Xatar" ab, das Gefahr bedeutet.
Seine Musik ist dem Gangsta-Rap zuzuordnen, der nach der Bundesprüfstelle den „Randbereich einer Subkultur“, basierend auf gewalthaltigem und frauenfeindlichem Hip-Hop darstellt. Er rappt in leicht bönnschem Dialekt. Inhaltlich dreht sich ein Großteil seiner Lieder um das Leben auf der „Straße“.
